Initial pilot focus / Retail lending

Can your institution independently verify the evidence behind a consequential lending decision?

Lending decisions and customer interactions may be reviewed long after they occur.

Retail lending is the current sandbox validation and initial paid-pilot focus for Secoya One. The product protects selected decision and operational evidence for later checks of integrity and signing authority.

A focused route to institutional evaluation.

Lending decisions and overrides

Protect recorded outcomes, relevant context and authorised interventions. Preserving historical outcomes is distinct from reproducing the original decision rules.

Customer vulnerability and escalation

Support retention and verification of recorded indicators, referrals, adjustments and escalation actions.

Complaints and retrospective review

Support independent inspection of retained evidence across system and organisational changes.

Policy execution evidence

Preserve records of actions associated with approved procedures and operational responsibilities.

Evidence supports assessment. It does not replace it.

The FCA Consumer Duty focuses on good outcomes for retail customers. FG21/1 provides guidance on the fair treatment of vulnerable customers. Institutions must assess customer treatment and outcomes; a cryptographic verification result cannot make that assessment.

Reliable retained evidence could support that review. It does not, by itself, demonstrate that a customer was treated fairly or that Consumer Duty requirements were met.

Agree one workflow and a review question.

Define the evidence events, expected inputs, trust policy, permitted data use and measurable acceptance criteria before a controlled pilot. Risk, compliance and operations professionals are also invited to contribute to market research.
